Director, Liaison and
Business Development
Renée Stroud’s 30-year career
encompasses service in the military, Federal government and private
industry, specializing in journalism, marketing, communications,
legislative and public affairs. A former U.S. Army photojournalist,
she rose through the Federal government ranks to become an award-winning
editor, Congressional Liaison and ultimately, a deputy director
to the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe and the Deputy Commander
of the U.S. European Command at the Pentagon.
While serving in the government in Frankfurt, Germany, she deployed
to Northern Iraq to support Operation Provide Comfort, a Kurdish
Humanitarian relief effort. In industry, Stroud managed the executive
communications for the Chairman and President of then-Hughes Aircraft
Company, a $19 billion company. After the merger with Raytheon
Company, she managed the communications processes for the new
business development section.
Before joining Athlone Global Security Corporation in November
2007, Stroud ran her own company, Sterling Enterprises LLC in
Florida. She is proud to be an honorary Colonel in the Alabama
State Militia appointed by the Governor.
